We strive to provide quality and sustainably raised meat to those within our community.
Our Beginning
We started our farm back in 2018 as a way for us to see if we could raise our own animals for our family. We wanted to know where our food was coming from and what better way than to raise it yourself. Sheep and chickens is what we started with mostly because we already had chickens and the sheep we inherited. Knowing where our food comes from is something we are passionate about.
Raising livestock on pasture.
We give our animals only the best! They are rotated weekly during the summer to new pastures so that they can have an abundance of forage and fresh grass. By rotating out animals it allows our pastures to grow back healthier and to provide better forage for out livestock. This practice also allows us to not have to vaccinate by keeping the parasites down.
